Hi, I'm Kate Whyatt and welcome to Wild as Well
Wild: freedom; living in a state of nature; unrestrained/untrammelled/unbridled; amazing or incredible
As: at the same time; with a result or purpose
Well; to rise, spring or gush; satisfactory, pleasing or good; a spring or a natural source
To be truly well, we need to be wild - in connection with nature, ourselves and each other. I believe we must reclaim our sense of freedom to be our authentic, messy and unique selves and only in this freedom will we truly be able to bring our gifts to the world.
Wild as Well, is an ecotherapeutic exploration into our sense of wholeness through coming into a deeper relationship with our Natural Self (the holistic integration of Personal Social and Ecological Self) which offers the opportunity for recovery and healing of the more fragmented and less supportive parts of ourselves.
Wild as Well is led by Kate Whyatt, a qualified Level 4 Ecopsychology Practitioner and Ecotherapist, and offers support to people living in both Nottingham city and across the county.
Wild as Well works with all client groups including but not exclusive to:
*Professionals working in mental health and trauma
*Adults and young people surviving trauma and abuse
*Carers
*People experiencing grief and loss
Wild as Well is the result of a three year accredited training pathway with Natural Academy https://www.naturalacademy.org/
